Based on the positive  recommendation of a friend, we engaged the services of Brian Laing to assist us in finding a residential proper in Victoria and surrounding areas. Being from out of province, we were unfamiliar with this market so we met with Brian in September of 2021.   After understanding what we were looking for as a residence, he first took us on a tour of potential areas in Victoria, as well as communities from the north Saanich Peninsula through Esquimalt and Langford to Sooke. This was helpful.  We returned in February 2022 and spent four months in a rental to search in earnest for a property. Brian pre-arranged tours of many properties. We continued the search and requested tours of a number of properties which Brian always arranged in a timely fashion. He also suggested other properties which we toured. We did make an unsuccessful offer on one property and a successful offer on another. Brian was on top of all the paperwork required. As well as being a competent realtor, Brian is a congenial person. He has stayed in touch with us since the purchase. We view Brian more as a friend now than a realtor.
